From Edinburgh we headed to Berwick Upon Tweed where we were to spend a night so we could be as close to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne the next morning.

We visited Melrose Abbey along the way.

Our audio tour told us to look up and there was Jesus above our heads.

One of the gargoyles peering out at us was a happy little pig 😂

Our hotel at Berwick-upon-Tweed was well situated, a stones throw from the coast with lovely walks along the cliffs.
